Michelle is a practicing artist, filmmaker, certified yoga instructor and social worker (HBSW). Over the past 25 years, she has been searching for healing modalities that would support Indigenous youth, women and communities to help find balance, as many people continue to struggle with intergenerational trauma stemming from colonialism.

She came to realize that western therapeutic approaches were not enough to help overcome these complex issues. She was searching for a culturally responsive way that would empower her (and others) to help to restore well-being. This led her down a path of discovery where she began incorporating storytelling, breath work and movement into a yoga and movement program that specifically helps people heal from historical and present day trauma. Manifesting Movement is a trauma-informed, nurturing and empowering program that participants can incorporate into their daily lives.
